If our involvement cannot influence the work, it is not meaningful involvement.

We expect organisations working with PGT to:

  • Resource community involvement properly
  • Pay community members fairly for their expertise
  • Use clear and accessible communication
  • Agree ownership, consent and publication arrangements
  • Protect confidential and sensitive information
  • Return findings to the communities involved
  • Take responsibility for acting on recommendations

We will not provide community endorsement for a decision that has already been made.

Our independence matters

PGT is an asset-locked Community Interest Company.

Income from commissioned work supports our community purpose and helps us remain independent. It allows us to respond to issues because they matter—not only because they fit a funding programme.

We accept commissions and partnerships where the work aligns with our values and where our involvement can be genuine.
