Community support
You do not need to write a formal account or understand professional language.
Tell us:
- What has happened
- Which organisation is involved
- Whether anybody is already supporting you
- Whether there is an important date or deadline
- How you would prefer us to contact you
If you have a letter, you can send a clear photograph or scanned copy. Please contact us before sending detailed medical records or other highly sensitive information.
Gypsy and Traveller community members can also send us a private message through our Proud GT Facebook page. Please do not post personal or sensitive information in a public comment.
Planning and welfare enquiries
Please contact us as early as possible and include:
- The location of the land
- The stage the case has reached
- Any appeal, hearing or enforcement deadline
- Whether a planning agent or solicitor is involved
- The type of report or support being requested
Commissioning and partnerships
If you want to commission PGT, please tell us:
- What you want to achieve
- Who the work will affect
- What stage the project has reached
- What you would like PGT to deliver
- The proposed timescale
- The available budget
- Whether any decisions have already been made
We will discuss whether PGT is the right partner and what meaningful involvement would require.

PGT is a small organisation and responses may not be immediate.
We are not an emergency service and cannot provide regulated legal advice. If somebody is in immediate danger, contact the emergency services.
We cannot guarantee that we will be able to accept every case or project. Where another organisation is better placed to help, we will try to explain the most appropriate next step.
